Thanks for visiting the Yale Systems Architecture or YSARCH (pronounced “wise arch”) webpage! We’re computer scientists at Yale University, working with Abhishek Bhattacharjee.

Our objective is to help design the next-generation of systems that deliver the performance and efficiency necessary to tackle society’s computational needs. We’re building systems of all scales, ranging from architectures for largest datacenter fleets to the smallest embedded devices. Moreover, we study not only classical computer systems, but also emerging ones that are inspired by, that interface with, and that improve our understanding of the human brain.

Our research draws from many areas of computer science, ranging from architecture and operating systems to compilers, formal verification, and artificial intelligence.  We take lessons from these fields of study to build next-generation chips, operating systems, and compilers.
